For migrants, finding steady employment in Italy is very difficult. Often they only have rudimentary Italian, no officially recognized professional skills (even though they worked in their home countries) and lack access to an employment network. The Twin Star Project finds that the best way to address these three challenges is by getting migrants into local vocational training programs be it in cooking, healthcare or agriculture. Help us fund vocational training program and language courses for a cohort of 5 migrants so they can get skills and certification in agriculture/gardening, cooking or elderly care. This will be a direct path to steady, long-term employment.
